ni men hao!

Today we went over some basic Chinese characters as well as radicals. We practiced handwriting a little bit and then had a "mock"dictation. In the beginning of the next class, we are going to have a real quiz. So, please make sure you practice the 11 characters/radicals enough time to remember.  Also, please review the vocabulary and text we have studied on Lesson 1. Listen to the core vocabularies, Sentence Patterns and Text 2 times. Here is the link Lesson 1.
Also, for Chinese character writing practices, here is a website you can use to input the characters and see how the animation plays out:   http://www.archchinese.com/chinese_english_dictionary.html . You can put in Pinyin, and then look for the write character matching our list. I will teach you how to type Chinese characters as well on Friday, so please make you you either bring a laptop with you, or borrow a lab cart laptop from the F Cart located in Mr. Leqclre's room.
